Facial rejuvenation acupuncture

Additional points in the body would be needled to address any internal problems that may be evident. For example, someone with a very pale face, would be treated with points on the stomach channel to increase blood flow, or someone with a loss of skin tone (saggy) would have points needled on the spleen channel to aid the muscles.
Therefore, the treatment works internally and externally, using an important tenet of Chinese medicine of treating the cause and the effect, or as it is known, the root and branch (Ben & Biao in Mandarin). This ensures there is a solid foundation for your health, and this in turn will reflect in how you look. |
After the acupuncture needles have been removed, I use a micro-roller over the face, which opens up the pores of the skin for approximately two hours to allow for maximum hydration through oils or cream. I use Bio-oil, but if you have a particular preference of moisturiser, feel free to bring it along. I may, depending on the client's needs and constitution, then use a tiger warmer, a smooth tube that contains moxa that warms and relaxes the facial muscles, and feels fantastic!
The treatment is then finished with a Tui Na facial massage, which uses varying massage techniques to help tone and shape the face and lips, which also feels fantastic. The result of this treatment is a far more youthful, relaxed look with a reduction in lines, a good healthy glow and without the frozen look that botox can give you, plus a reduction of numerous other internal symptoms, so it can be seen as effectively being two treatments in one. |
There is no extended recovery period, unlike a surgical facelift. There is no look of permanent surprise, or frozen face, unlike botox, There is no possibility of fillers solidifying and looking unsightly, unlike fillers. And in addition is much better value than all of those. An immediate effect can be noted, but the effects are cumulative, and a course of ten treatments is recommended. |
